Downers Grove

The village of Downers Grove is Chicago suburb of ~50,000 residents, and it is commonly rated one of the best suburbs to live in Illinois. Many young professionals live in Downers Grove and residents tend to own their homes. Downers Grove's public schools are highly rated on Niche.com.  A nice downtown area features the popular Tivoli Theatre (an old school, single screen theatre in an auditorium built in 1928). There is a divided “north” side and “south” side with a friendly rivalry between the town but an overall strong community.
