Wheaton

Wheaton is a western suburb of Chicago with a population of 53,270. Often rated as one of the best places to live in Illinois. Living in Wheaton offers its residents a dense suburban feel and most residents own their homes.  Wheaton has a ton of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks throughout the town. Many families and young professionals live in Wheaton. The public schools in Wheaton are highly rated.  With a strong community and beautiful downtown area on the North side of town..filled with restaurants (Italian, Mexican, Asian, American, etc), tons of boutiques, toy shops, popular chocolate & popcorn shops, salons, etc.  I’d almost say a little of a small town feel (a lot of family owned businesses) with charm and friendly personalities all around.  Great events throughout the year to bring everyone together (Walks/Runs,  Fests, Parades, etc).   Great park district for family and kids too – with pools, sports, fitness centers, etc.  You can take a look at the Wheaton Park District for a full list of everything they offer.   North side of Wheaton is more convenient to the downtown & historic district,  South side of Wheaton is a little more convenient to the Town Square & Danada Square shopping centers which includes (Jewel, Whole Foods, Petes Market, Evereve, Francescas, White House Black Market, Nothing Bundt Cakes,  HomeGoods, TJMaxx, Ulta, Sally Beauty, PartyCity, Hallmark, Sierra, Petco, etc).  Two theaters the Wheaton Grand Theater & Studio Movie & Grille.  Not far from highway and convenient to the Metra.   Easy to get to Oakbrook Mall, Yorktown Mall.  For golfers, it's home to the Chicago Golf Club- a prestigious private golf club, Arrowhead Golf Club & Cantigny.
